First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Estes Forwarding Worldwide.
Data Analyst
It went well. First was an HR phone screen, then a hiring manager interview, and lastly an in-person interview. The HR screen was a basic phone screen and the virtual with the hiring manager was pretty normal too. I didn't like that they insisted on an in-person interview in the post-covid world.
- Tell me more about your experience with SQL and Access databases.
Desktop Support Analyst
First up was a phone screening with the IT Manager, which included some IT-related technical questions. Then, there was a panel interview over Zoom, where they asked more IT technical questions and did a vibe check. Finally, I had an interview with the CIO, which was mostly just a vibe check.
- Can you explain what DNS is and its function?
IT Support
I had a screening call with the hiring manager. Then, there was a group panel technical call. During this call, I was asked questions about DNS, DHCP, and some security questions.
- Can you explain the four steps for getting a DHCP IP lease?
Apprentice Program
The interview process involved vague questions and unclear details about the role, leaving me with more questions than answers. The program is now a two-year requirement, whereas a friend previously completed it in one year.
- Can you discuss your previous roles?
