Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview had three rounds, with standard questions focusing on your process for executing tasks. The interviewers were nice but a bit awkward. The company seemed like it had a stagnant culture; they cared a lot about knowing who's in charge.

I was found by a staffing company. After some interviews, the staffing person kept saying I wasn't interested, even though I said I was. One interviewer didn't show up for an interview day where I met multiple people. They invited me to more interviews, including one with a department head, and tried to schedule it the same day. A week later, the staffing person told me that after over a month, they hired someone else and didn't even tell her. I felt my time wasn't respected. The fact that a department head wanted me to interview that day, after over 5 interviews in a month, shows me leadership doesn't respect people's time or boundaries.

Applied online for the Applications Developer position and got an initial phone screen. A week later, the HR person called and asked about my skills, interests, and why I applied. I emailed for feedback but got no response. Two weeks later, HR contacted me with an on-site interview invitation, but I had to accept and come the next day. At the interview, HR and I spoke for about 5 minutes. Then, HR took me to a conference room for an interview with two people in person and one remotely. They mainly asked about my past roles, why I was interested in this job, and what the duties were. It felt non-technical and the vibe was good. I emailed HR again for feedback since I didn't get any. A few days later, I got an email saying they chose other candidates. The whole process was pretty disorganized, especially the lack of feedback and no replies to my follow-ups after the on-site.

The interview went great. I met with the hiring manager and the supervisor I'd be working under. They asked around 10 questions total, and then I got to ask them about 6 questions. I felt good about it. After that, the supervisor gave me a tour of the warehouse, showing me the heavy equipment and introducing me to some of the team. She did mention I might be a bit overqualified. I'm just waiting to hear back now.
