I uploaded my resume, filled out a questionnaire, and had a Zoom interview. The process was smooth. ESS was responsive and timely, and I was hired quickly. Everyone I spoke with during the hiring process was kind and communicated well.

There was no interview process. We just had to do a background check (which we paid for) and then training. The training was four hours, but it was pretty vague. They tried to get us ready for most situations, but honestly, nothing really prepares you better than actually being in the classroom.

Group Presentation

The hiring process was pretty straightforward. It usually involved a group "interview" or an online task where you watch videos and answer questions. After that, there were background checks and clearances needed. Honestly, there wasn't really an interview if you already met the qualifications. You could get the necessary clearances after applying. Once you got an offer and finished the emergency teaching certification training (if you didn't have a regular one), there was a Zoom orientation/presentation from a district manager.
