I applied online and got a call from a recruiter within a few days. We had a nice chat, and I was really excited about the role because it seemed like a great fit for my skills and vice versa. She then sent me a Talent Quest assessment which had a personality test and an intelligence assessment. The hiring manager emailed me that same day to schedule an interview. The next day, I interviewed with the VP of HR and another HR Manager. I thought it went well, but less than 24 hours later, I got an automated rejection email. I'm confused and can't figure out why they rejected me so fast, especially since I felt it was the right role and company for me.

So first, a recruiter from the company reaches out. They'll ask you about your background to see if you're a good fit. If you are, they'll pass your info to the hiring manager. If the hiring manager likes what they see, the HR recruiter will set up a phone interview. After that, if they're still interested, you'll come in for an in-person interview. Sometimes, depending on where the office is, they might do a panel interview with a video call to include the hiring manager who might be in Atlanta. After the panel interview, which usually has 3-4 people, they'll discuss your performance and pick the best candidate.
