Outside Sales
The hiring manager was nice and talked about the company and their plans for it. He explained his part in those changes. I felt good after he was honest about his goals and the company's future. Then he asked me why I was looking for a new job and we talked about what I could do for them, and then he hired me. Really good experience.
- What prompted your career change?
Admissions
I applied online and got a call back. Then I returned the call. It took HR another week to contact me. I interviewed with management, but they aren't with the company anymore. There was a two week training period, then six months of learning, and I should know everything within a year.
- Given that culture is really important for this account, and the person who was best at handling that aspect left last summer, what are your thoughts on that?
Customer Care Specialist
I had a phone screening interview first. They emailed me to set up a second interview at their headquarters. I met with the operating manager and we talked for about 30 minutes. They said they'd call me if I was a good fit. I actually got the job offer over the phone as I was leaving their parking lot.
- What's your sales ability like?
Admission Representative
I had a personal interview, a skills test, and a phone test. It was easy and impersonal. I got hired and started the next week with a big group of about 30 new hires. We went through 2 weeks of training and then were put on the floor to start working.
- Can you describe your previous experience?
