Mechanical Engineer
The interview process was great, everyone was super nice and professional. It felt really welcoming. I talked to about 12 people throughout the whole day, and they all seemed really smart and into their jobs.
- What motivates you in your career?
Mechanical Engineer
I was hired straight out of college. The first chat was with Michael Kern, who's in HR, so I don't think he really knows the right technical questions to ask. He's more into extracurriculars, like high GPAs, and wants you to seem personable. The second interview was brutal. You'll see about 5-10 VPs. I ran out of things to ask by the third VP and was totally wiped by the eighth. They did take us out for a nice lunch though. The VPs all care about different things, so you gotta be ready for anything.
- Could you tell me the units for density?
- And what about the units for the specific heat of water?
- What's the highest possible height to pump water?
Mechanical Engineer
Met them at a university career fair. Then had an on campus interview talking about my resume and leadership. Got a call back and interviewed with hiring managers and some employees at the company.
- Were all the questions behavior-based?
