It went well, and they responded quickly. They sent a questionnaire to complete before the offer. Communication via email was responsive and informative, with details about the onboarding steps. The offer letter was comprehensive and professional.
- What's your approach to preparing presentations?
Principal Operations
I had three video calls with Erica. First was an intro, then we talked about my skills and experience, and the last one was a technical interview. Erica was super professional and a good communicator.
- What kind of work culture are you seeking?
Consultant
I had a first interview with HR where they asked standard questions like 'tell us about yourself.' A second interview was scheduled with the same HR person two weeks later, and they asked many of the same questions. They said I'd hear back after the holidays (about 2 weeks out.) I followed up after 3 weeks of silence and found out the HR person wasn't with the company anymore, and they had decided to go with other candidates. The company sounded great in many ways, but the work/life balance they described was concerning.
- Can you share details about your past work experiences?
Consultant
For a small company, they have a complex and time consuming process designed to make it feel like they are big 4 when it's the opposite. The interview was supposed to be 7 step process: 1. Intro w/ HR 2. Skills and experience assessment w/ HR 3. Cultural fit w/ HR 4. Skills and experience assessment detailed 5. Behavioral tests - onsite 6. Panel interview - onsite 7. Final discussions
