First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Erickson Immigration Group.
Law Clerk
The interview was super easy, not hard at all. They mostly just asked about my past experience and if I'm interested in business immigration right now. We also chatted about why I'm keen on working at their company.
- Could you tell me about your experience with business immigration?
- What's your background in business immigration?
- Are you interested in business immigration currently?
Associate Attorney
The interview process involved two rounds with the Director and Senior Attorney, conducted via Zoom. They were mainly concerned about case volume, and they also mentioned long hours due to the volume.
- Can you describe your experience with H-1B petitions?
- How have you handled PERM cases in the past?
- What is the typical annual volume of cases you file?
Front Desk Coordinator
The initial phone interview went really well. I was then invited for a face-to-face interview the very next day. I met with a different, junior HR person who seemed condescending from the start. The interview felt very negative, which was a first for me. Now I understand why there are so many negative employee reviews.
- What would you do in the event someone vomits in the kitchen?
- Can you draft emails that lack any discernible tone?
Attorney
The interview process is conducted virtually via Teams, and if they like you, there are two rounds. They will explain the position and the caseload, along with expectations for the cases you'll handle. They'll also ask about your experience and your process for working on cases.
- Can you describe your process for preparing a case?
