First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eric Mower and Associates.
Account Director
Since I was relocating, the interview process involved 5 phone interviews with Directors and Board members, followed by a 4-hour in-person interview with 5 department heads (Creative, Digital, PM, HR, Strategy). The whole thing took about 2 months, and I had to keep chasing the Talent Acquisition Manager for updates. Communication could have been better, but everyone was generally helpful and detailed. Near the end of the in-person, HR went on about benefits, which felt like a waste of time since I didn't get an offer or a final decision.
- Can you describe your philosophy on account management?
- Could you tell me about the digital projects you've been involved with?
- What digital solutions or services have you personally sold successfully to clients or prospects?
Account Executive
The interview process for this role was quite frustrating. It started with a brief initial phone interview with HR. After that, I had a lengthy 4-hour onsite interview at their local office. While everyone I met was very nice and I felt the interview went well, I was subsequently ghosted and received no communication. I sent multiple emails to the HR person over a month and even tried calling directly with a voicemail, but never got a response, which I found extremely rude. Considering I took half a day off work for this, I at least expected a simple email update on their decision, even if it was a rejection.
- Can you identify three key traits for success in client services?
Intern
I learned about the company from my campus advisor. I applied online and then had a brief phone interview. After that, I had an in-person interview at their Buffalo, NY office. The interviewers were nice and made me feel comfortable. There were four different women who interviewed me at different times. The office seemed very modern and comfy. It seems like a good place to work for young people.
- What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Landscaper
It was an easy and fast phone interview, then an email test assessment where they asked questions and I followed along a prompt, then they asked more questions. Then there was a phone test, then another test where they asked more questions, and we talked about growth and what I wanted to see with the company.
