Applied online, heard back a few days later for email responses to questions, then had a phone screening. It was a 30-minute call that felt rushed and formulaic, covering behavioral and logistical questions. After that, I was given a writing assignment with a one-hour deadline from when I received it (at an agreed time). I was ghosted after submitting the writing assignment. They were clearly looking for something specific from the assignment, but the instructions weren't very detailed.

I had two in-person interviews that were about 30 minutes each, and also a writing and research assessment. Everything seemed to be going well until they just stopped responding. They completely ghosted me. I reached out about a week later to ask about the hiring process status, and they never got back to me. Funny enough, a friend of mine who works in the same industry mentioned she was recently ghosted after two interview rounds, and I asked her which company it was. Turns out it was ERGO! They treated her the exact same way. I'm not sure if they're just collecting resumes, running a fake job scam, or trying to get competitor information, but if you see an Investigative Analyst position on LinkedIn or elsewhere and you work in Investigative Services, BE WARNED. I don't know what's worse, their rudeness to candidates or if it's a complete scam. Be careful.

I had an interview experience that went pretty well. The questions weren't difficult and it was basically a discussion about my resume. The very next day I got a call offering me the position. At first I was happy, but then they said it was a temporary contract with the possibility to go full time after three months. I told them it would be a risky move for me to move to New York for a three month contract, but they said this was standard company policy. I thought it would be good to investigate a bit further and reached out to a friend who put me in touch with someone who used to work there. In this person's case, he did not go full time until more than a year after starting there. He said he knew of other colleagues who went 6-9 months or longer before going full time. After hearing how long it takes to go full time with benefits, I decided it was too risky to move to New York, sign an apartment lease, etc. I need health insurance and could not afford to go for almost a year without it. So in the end I had to turn down the offer unfortunately.
