Behavioral Technical Presentation

I started the interview with the art director, but the business director came late so they missed most of it. They asked a LOT of questions for 45 minutes about every single detail of how I worked in my previous roles, it was super tiring. Some questions felt a bit too personal, so I made sure to stay professional and keep my distance. I saw some bad reviews for this company online, so I'm not too upset if I don't get the job. I haven't heard back from them since the interview.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The process was pretty thorough, starting with a phone interview, followed by an in-person interview with the hiring manager, then another in-person with the whole team, and finally a skills test/presentation to the entire team. Despite being thorough, there wasn't much transparency about the timeline, with the CEO saying 'ASAP... but ASAP could mean a year.' This lack of clarity was a red flag. While the people seemed nice, there was a strange energy that aligns with negative reviews. Be sure to investigate the company culture and how you'll be treated.

I found the job on LinkedIn and they reached out a few days later. I had a call with the hiring manager for the role. We had a really good chat, and she was upfront and detailed when I asked about the negative Glassdoor reviews. We went through the usual interview questions and talked for about 20 minutes longer than scheduled, which was great! I haven't heard back yet, but I felt good about Ergo Interactive after the call, even with the reviews on the Overview page. *I had to select an offer option for this submission, but I'll update this after I get a response!

The first step was a chat with the hiring manager, which seemed to go pretty well. After that, I was given a behavioral assignment to complete. Once they reviewed that, they decided to move forward, so I then had an hour-long meeting with the rest of the team where they asked me about my SQL and ETL skills and experience. After all that, I was ghosted. They should at least send a rejection after someone has gone through several interview rounds.
