First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Era Living.
Front Desk Receptionist
The interviewer was friendly and enthusiastic, and I liked her right away. She asked relevant questions and was really focused on customer service. She fully answered my questions and was upfront about pay and benefits. They're moving soon, but I don't know how big the move will be; I'm guessing it's not too bad since it's a hybrid office.
- Can you share an instance where you delivered exceptional customer service?
Marketing Director
The Exec Assistant to the hiring manager first got in touch to let me know the first interview was by phone. After that went well, I was invited to meet the hiring manager at their office. I found it hard to gauge their reaction, but I think I did well, offering insightful answers that showcased my abilities and experience and how they fit the role. They mentioned there would be two more interviews with other team members. However, later that week, the COO's exec assistant informed me they were still looking for candidates. This position has been posted for more than a month and a half under various titles on different job boards. I'm uncertain about their requirements but wish them well. No specific feedback was provided, just a standard response.
- Can you tell me about your biggest weakness?
Community Relations Director
The hiring process kicked off with a chat with the Executive Director for the specific community the job is in. Then, I interviewed with the home office team, which was pretty intense and involved a bunch of scenario-based questions. Lastly, I met with the folks who would be reporting to me on-site at the community, and that was more about seeing if I was a good fit and suitable for the role.
- Can you role-play how you would manage interactions with potential customers?
- Describe your approach to handling specific challenges you might encounter.
Nursing Assistant
I arrived 30 minutes before my interview, and they started early too. Everyone was super nice and the interviewer was really clear about what they expect from employees. After we chatted, I filled out the job application and then left. The whole thing took about 30-45 minutes and included a walk-through of the place.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Can you tell me about a time you had a conflict with a coworker and how you handled it?
