HR from the UK was supposed to call me on Friday evening at 6pm, but she didn't. She rescheduled for a month later, and then she called. She set up a direct interview at the Stockholm datacenter. Four days later, she told me I got the job and asked for my documents for a background check, which I sent. The background check took a month. After that month, she called and said they couldn't offer me the job because I don't have permanent residence in Sweden, even though I had explained that I live with my partner and wouldn't need help with work visa extensions. I had mentioned all this during the interview and to HR on the first call. I'm not sure how this system works, but it didn't seem professional. So, I technically got an offer, and then I didn't.
