Data Technician
I had one interview and was told there were five total candidates, with the last candidate interview taking place at the end of the following week. I was informed I’d hear back around that time and even received an email from a team member checking whether I was still interested in the position. I confirmed that I was, and they replied within ten minutes saying they’d keep me updated — which made me think I was genuinely being considered. That was the last I heard from them. I followed up politely the next week, asking for the update I’d been told to expect, but never received a reply. A short message letting me know I wasn’t selected would’ve taken seconds and left a much better impression. Instead, the silence came across as dismissive, which felt unprofessional given the time and effort spent preparing.

Contract Manager
The process was clear, smooth, and fast. I was first contacted by an HR recruiter for an initial phone call, followed by an interview with the operational manager, and then with the contracts manager. The interactions were professional and kind, with relevant questions about my background and skills. The position and duties were well presented. The whole process took less than two weeks, with quick feedback after each step.

DEI Manager
My interview for the DEI Manager role didn't go well on September 25, 2024, for a few reasons. I was with a dying friend and trying to reach the hiring manager to reschedule, but they were out sick. Two junior colleagues took over the interview. Even though I was with my friend who passed away, I joined the interview at 3 pm just in case. The interviewers had set questions with no real back-and-forth, and I felt disappointed. I didn't get the job and didn't receive any feedback. I'm unsure what notes were taken or passed on.

Operations Management Graduate Program
Had a quick first interview with some short questions, then a full day assessment centre at Aintree. The exercises there were really fun and the staff were super nice. There was a large group of us at the assessment centre, so it was a good chance to meet lots of people and get to ask many questions.
