Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Epsilon.
Recruiter
I had a phone screen with the manager first. Then I did 3 video interviews with 4 people: a Manager, 2 team members, and the VP of TA. Communication was good throughout, and the interviews seemed fine. But after the last one, I got no feedback on moving forward. I messaged them for weeks with no reply. It's been over 2 months and I finally heard back with an excuse for the lack of updates, saying I was an excellent candidate. If I was, why no proper communication? Take note of this when considering this company. The company seems good, but some people ruin its image. Very disappointed.

Recruiting Coordinator
I interviewed with a lead recruiter, director, and then the Sr. director and senior recruiter. I really liked everyone I met. I was surprised I didn't get the job after so many interviews. They said it was because I didn't describe my past positions in detail, but I did for most of them, especially the ones relevant to the role. For the jobs that weren't related, I didn't go into as much detail because it was only a 30-minute interview. They should have read my resume and the feedback notes from the previous interviews. I feel like my time was wasted and they got my hopes up for nothing. It's their loss. I hope companies stop wasting candidates' time. If they aren't sure after two interviews, it shows poor recruiting. An entry-level recruiting coordinator shouldn't have to interview with a Sr. director and Sr. recruiter; it's excessive and took time away from other opportunities.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a rude customer and how you handled it?
- What attracts you to Epsilon?
Corporate Recruiter
The interview process was very efficient. It started with a phone screen with the hiring manager, followed by meetings with senior managers. The final round was with the VP of HR and the Director. It was very informative and felt like a casual conversation. It was technical in nature, focusing on day-to-day tasks and how I would handle various situations. The people I met were awesome, making for a very pleasant experience.
- What is your interest in Epsilon and what do you know about the company?
- Could you walk me through your typical day?
- How do you approach different scenarios you might encounter?
