Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Epsilon.
Quality Engineer
It was a 3-round interview process, with 2 technical interviews and 1 HR interview. The difficulty was moderate. They focused heavily on OOPs and DBMS, and also asked a lot about my projects, along with some coding questions.
- Discuss OOPs concepts.
- Tell me about DBMS.
- Explain your projects.
Tester
The campus placement had a few stages. It started with an online test. Then there were three interview rounds. The first was a technical interview to check technical skills. After that, there was a technical managerial interview to see how candidates could handle managing things technically. Lastly, the HR round was to see if candidates fit the company culture and how they interact with people.
- Were there any questions about your resume?
- What technical concepts did they ask about?
Senior QA Engineer
So I had about six interview rounds. It started with an online coding test, then went into some technical and managerial interviews, and finally an HR round. After I passed the technical part, they emailed me asking for my resume, current salary, and what I expected to earn, plus some other info. I sent that back. Then I cleared all the interview rounds. In the HR round, they told me they couldn't match my expected salary but would see what they could do. They got back to me two weeks later with a lower offer. I accepted it, and they said they'd follow up the next week. The following week, they called and said they couldn't offer me what they initially suggested and had to withdraw my candidacy. Seriously, is this a joke? They put candidates through all these interviews even when they know they can't afford them! Why waste our time and energy? My advice: don't bother interviewing with this company, you'll just be wasting your time.
- Tell me about your experience with Selenium.
- Can you explain how you manage iframes using Selenium?
- How do you work with dropdown lists in Selenium?
