Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Epsilon.
Management
The HR recruitment process was pathetic, with low-grade people in India conducting interviews. It seems like all the new employees are individuals who couldn't secure jobs elsewhere. The India Directors were recently hired from other companies where their roles were equivalent to or below that of a Track lead and Assistant Manager. The HR department is clueless and unprofessional, never replying to emails about candidate questions. The India Directors are unsure if Epsilon can successfully establish an operations and development center. During one interview, a panel Director, lacking industry knowledge, asked a management profile candidate basic questions about IP protocols. It doesn't seem like a good place to work, as careers might get stuck, and no one in the Indian management team seems capable of driving the initiative, leading to very uncertain job security.

- What SIEM tools have you used?
Senior Manager
Started with an initial phone call from the in-house recruiter. Then, I had 7 back-to-back interviews with a lunch break in between. The final interview was a phone call with a senior VP, but they weren't available on the day of the in-person interviews. I came in, checked into a conference room, and waited for all my sessions to finish. Within a week, I was updated on my progress and sent paperwork to e-sign, which was a bit time-consuming to complete.
- Can you discuss your previous experiences?
- What are your experiences with products and tools?
- How do you approach conflict management?
Manager
The interview process was good overall. About a month after applying, a recruiter reached out. Communication was great; they were open and happy to answer questions. I did a phone screen and then three live interviews. Looking back, the recruiter didn't do much to sell the company, it felt like just going through the motions based on the role and my interview feedback. I only found out about the site benefits and perks when I arrived, which thankfully turned out to be good!
- Can you share an instance where you had to persuade others?
