Account Manager
I submitted my application on their website. Then, the Human Resource Administrator emailed me about availability. Next, my direct manager called me for an interview, and we had a face-to-face meeting for an hour. A few days later, the interviewer invited me for a casual peer group chat at the office. About a week after that, the regional director was in SG, and we had a 30-minute coffee chat. I received my offer a few days after the coffee chat.

- What are your career aspirations for the next 2-3 years and for the next 5-10 years?
Account Manager
I went through a few rounds of voice and live interviews. It was unclear when the interviews would wrap up. I spoke with about 8 people from the team over approximately 2 months. The process was mainly virtual, including phone and video calls. Different team members interviewed me, and each had their own style. Some interviews felt very formal, while others were more like casual chats with a few key questions. It kicked off with HR and ended with HR, with minimal HR interaction in between. They didn't ask about my salary expectations, and at the end, they made a guess about what I'd want, which was a bit strange. They don't seem to negotiate benefits much, but the benefits and team appear to be great.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a significant challenge?
- Describe your key strengths and areas for improvement.
- What motivates you to seek a new employment opportunity?
Associate Account Manager
I got a LinkedIn message from a recruiter who was looking for recent grads, which initially made me think it was a scam. But they were legit, even though the job title is a bit misleading since it's actually a sales role, which companies seem hesitant to admit. I had a phone interview with someone from HQ because I don't live in the hiring location. It was a quick, 10-minute call asking about my resume and some behavioral stuff. To my surprise, they offered to fly me out, even though the phone interview wasn't amazing. A few days later, I was on a plane, but the interview was scheduled so close to my landing time that I almost missed it due to a 40-minute cab ride, making me late. The interviewers were understanding, though, and I didn't have their contact info. It was a panel interview with five people at a big table. I'd prepped using Glassdoor questions, which helped. There was a 'good cop/bad cop' vibe. I could answer questions about my college and internship experiences, plus standard ones like strengths, weaknesses, and why Epsilon. However, some tougher questions caught me off guard, like my favorite brands and hobbies, which I stumbled on. The atmosphere wasn't relaxed, and the interviewers weren't very friendly. It lasted about 30 minutes, shorter than the scheduled 45, possibly because I was late. They mentioned a lunch with other recent hires, but the interviewers seemed unaware or dismissive, so it didn't happen. I had free time before my flight back. It's been a month since my interview, and I haven't heard back despite following up and sending thank-you notes. It seems the company often ghosts candidates, which is unprofessional. They did cover my flight and cab fare, so it's their loss. Overall, this experience, including the panel interview, improved my interviewing skills, especially as a recent grad.
- Can you tell me about your hobbies and your favorite brands, and explain why, especially after we've already asked you to introduce yourself?
