First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EPS.
Administrative
Had a phone interview first, then an in-person one. They asked some basic stuff about my background and when I could start. It lasted about 40 mins to an hour. They also showed me around the office and talked about what they do. Overall, it was a professional, friendly, and pleasant interview.
- Can you tell me about your experience and technical skills?
- What is your availability to start if you receive an offer?
Relay Technician
The hiring manager called me for a phone interview. Then, I had a follow-up Skype interview with a manager and another relay tech. It felt pretty basic, and the questions weren't too tough.
- Can you list the tests you'd perform to check if an electromechanical overcurrent relay is working correctly?
Field Relay
It was pretty straight forward. I talked with the manager for about an hour. He started bragging about the company and what they have to offer to employees.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you answer some technical questions?
Technician
A recruiter from LinkedIn reached out to me. I went through three interviews and then got ghosted. This happened twice. I never got a decline letter, which seemed pretty unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about the types of relays you have experience with?
