First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eppendorf.
Customer Care Specialist
The interview process was well organized and ran smoothly. There were two rounds of interviews in total. The first round was with the team members I would be working with. The interviewers were very kind and only asked about my work experience, not personal details. They seemed very confident and professional.
- Can you describe your experience with the OTC process?
HR
I got a message to come for an interview at night. Then I went to the physical interview. The interview was pretty weird. It started with me introducing myself, but then the interviewer just talked for most of the hour. He mostly explained the company structure and complained about how the team lacks skills for transformation. He didn't ask me many questions about my skills or experience. He was more focused on his frustrations with a transformation project from HQ. It felt like a monologue, not an interview, and I didn't get to share how I could help. The process wasn't structured and felt more like a venting session. Anyway, good luck with your project.
- Can you tell me about your current role?
Territory Manager
The interview process was pretty simple. It started with a phone conversation with the HR recruiter, followed by a Teams call with the Hiring Manager, then a Phone Conversation with the Zone Director, and finally a Teams call with the Area Vice President.
- Tell me about your background and what you used to do in your previous job.
- What makes you believe you would be a good fit for this position?
- What are your motivations for wanting to work at Eppendorf?
Manager
I had an initial screening with HR, followed by an interview with a high-level executive. Then, I had a full day of video interviews with potential management colleagues and a couple of direct reports. The interviews went really well, and I received very positive feedback from the interviewers. They expressed a strong desire for the company to hire me, believing I would be a great fit and that they would enjoy working with me. Afterward, I spoke with HR about benefits and other details. They mentioned they would be in touch in a couple of days. However, weeks passed without any word. I decided not to follow up, as I feel that if a company doesn't provide an update after such an interview process, it's not an organization I'd want to be a part of.
- Can you discuss your previous experience?
- What do you see as the challenges of this role?
- What are the challenges the company is currently facing?
