Resource Coordinator
had two rounds of interviews over zoom. they were friendly and insightful. questions started out a bit generic but got better and more thoughtful and specific as we talked.
- Tell me about a work conflict you navigated.
Animator
After applying for the Full-Time Animator role, I didn't hear back for about three months. Then, a design team member reached out, interested in my skills and asked if I was still keen on interviewing. I confirmed, and we had an introductory video call a week later. The conversation felt good and he seemed interested in discussing next steps. He also suggested I apply for their freelance animator pool while they considered me. I waited for an email about a second interview but got nothing, not even a reply to my follow-up email a week later. My freelance application also went unanswered. It was quite odd to be contacted months after applying, have what seemed like a positive interview, and then be completely ghosted again.
- Could you elaborate on the projects featured in your portfolio?
Business Development
My first call with a team member went really well, and I felt good about getting a follow-up interview. I sent a thank you and asked about what's next. I didn't hear back for a few days, so I reached out to the team member and the admin again. Still nothing, so I emailed them too. I would have appreciated any feedback, even if it was negative.
- What are some of your strengths?
Art Director
So, first, they scheduled an interview but then ghosted me and didn't show up or give a heads-up. About a month later, they set up another interview, which was remote and had a panel of two people.
- Have you ever had to step in and resolve a conflict between two different teams?
