& Process

The interview process was quite long and involved several rounds of interviews. They asked specific questions, which made it clear they have high expectations. Despite the rigorous process, everyone I interacted with made me feel really comfortable. I'm still not sure why I didn't end up getting the position.

I was contacted for a phone interview, but the interviewer didn't call at the scheduled time. I emailed for a follow-up with no response. Thirty minutes past the interview time, I got a call saying they had server issues. They asked if I could still do the interview, and I agreed because I really wanted the job. The interview lasted about 10 minutes. The interviewer asked if I had experience with epilepsy patients. I said no, and her tone changed, and she ended the interview right away. I was disappointed because the job description didn't say that was a requirement. They said I'd get a follow-up, but I never did. I get they might want that experience, but they should state it clearly in the job description instead of saying it wasn't required.

The people were really nice. I interviewed with about 4 people. The first interview was a phone screen. Then, I had an in-person interview with the director, a team member, and someone from marketing. Finally, I interviewed with the president. Honestly, I thought the number of interviews was a bit much. The whole process took 3 days to get an offer, but luckily we could schedule them all back-to-back. I interviewed at two different office locations, first in Fort Lauderdale, and then in Doral.

The recruiter called me about five minutes after I sent my resume, which seemed promising and like they were really interested in hiring someone. She asked me to come in the next day. I came on short notice and waited about 15 minutes before she talked to me, calling me by the wrong name. She then asked me questions, repeatedly asking why I wanted to work in a non-profit with a social services focus. She kept me for nearly an hour, and every time it seemed like she wanted to end the interview, she would start asking more questions. I followed up twice but heard nothing back, which was disappointing and made me wonder if they were just interviewing people to fill a quota since they called on such short notice.
