Behavioral Technical

It was mostly a behavioral interview. I think there were around 7-8 questions asked in about 50 minutes. I talked to the Manager of Data Governance and the Manager of Integrated Planning. The interviewers were really nice and approachable and seemed interested in my past experiences, asking follow-up questions. They even walked us out after the interview.

Behavioral Technical

There was a pre-screening call, followed by an interview that was scheduled for an hour but ended up running for an hour and a half. They asked a lot of behavioral questions and seem to be looking for an absolutely perfect candidate. It's tough out there because most places aren't hiring entry-level anymore, and even though this was a senior role, they expected someone who's 100% perfect, like no company wants to hire someone with some skills who's willing to learn. I got a rejection email a few days ago, and the job is already listed again. I guess they're still searching for that perfect angel they want.

Behavioral Technical

It was a series of questions, some behavioural and some technical. It wasn't a great experience, and I'm not sure why it felt like such a waste of time. It felt like they had already made up their mind about me before they even sent the interview invitation. From the very beginning, the welcome wasn't warm. They won't ask you follow-up questions if they aren't satisfied with your answer. They do let you know what they were looking for with your answers when they tell you that you didn't get the job. If you don't like someone's resume, maybe don't invite them.

Technical Behavioral

Started with a phone screen asking why I'd be a good fit. Then, I had an in-person interview the same week that was about an hour long with 3 interviewers, no HR. It had 6 technical questions specific to the role and 4 general behavioral questions. I got selected for a reference check (3 references). All my references said positive things, but the department manager at EPCOR specifically wanted a reference from a direct supervisor. Since I just graduated, I only had one from an internship, and the rest were from coworkers. I was rejected because I didn't have enough direct supervisor references. My references mentioned the manager was really rude on the phone and unprofessional, calling late and not apologizing, and even asking illegal questions.

  • Describe a situation where you created a more efficient process that achieved the same outcome.
