First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EP+Co..
Talent Manager
I interviewed with HR team members (Molly, Steve, Myra, Matt) and the CEO (Allen Bosworth) at EP. The interviews seemed to go really well, and I was actually offered the position. To my shock, I never heard back from anyone at EP afterwards. I was told I had the job and they wanted to proceed with me. I followed up multiple times and was told they needed more time to formally open the position. Then, I discovered they had posted the job opening again online. I was so frustrated by the runaround. I couldn't believe they wasted my time with several interviews, told me I got the job, and then left me with nothing. It was a terrible experience, the worst I've ever had!
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Executive Producer
This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had in my career. An internal recruiter reached out about my interest in an interview. After five interviews over two months, the agency disappeared. They didn't even have the courtesy to provide feedback or let me know they'd filled the role. It's a small industry, and we all know each other. Why burn a bridge? I guess I dodged a bullet with these guys. Don't fall for the great culture they sell during interviews. This process showed EP+Co's true colors, and I'm glad I didn't end up here.
- If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Strategist
Standard interview process, started with a phone screen then an in-person interview. After the in-person, I was given an assignment to present to the hiring manager. I then met someone else from the team. HR followed up saying a decision was coming soon, but then there was radio silence for a week. I emailed twice with no response and never heard back. It was unprofessional given how far I got.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Recruiter
This job involves recruiting. The interview will cover important skills for a recruitment assistant, how you handle pressure, and what you'd do if you encountered unfamiliar terms when screening candidates. We also want to discuss how to improve our candidate experience.
- What are the key skills for a recruitment assistant, and how do you handle pressure effectively?
- If you had to screen candidates using qualifications you didn't understand, what steps would you take?
- How would you improve our candidate experience to ensure applicants feel well-handled?
