First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EOS IT Solutions.
Service Delivery Manager
The interview process started with standard competency-based questions. Initially, the experience was good, with an engaging and helpful recruiter. The next step was a panel interview with two pleasant interviewers. However, the process deteriorated when the recruiter became unresponsive, despite a promise of feedback. This lack of communication has been a recurring issue with EOS recruiters, as I've experienced being ignored after scheduling calls previously. It seems the recruitment team doesn't prioritize the candidate experience, which suggests a broader disregard for people.

IT Help Desk Technician
The interview process at EOS IT Solutions was really organized and felt professional. It started with an online assessment that checked my problem-solving skills and tech knowledge. After passing that, I had four virtual interviews. First was a recruiter screening where they talked about my background, skills, and why I was interested in the job. Then came a technical round that focused on macOS troubleshooting, how I handle ITSM tickets, and some technical questions based on scenarios, like login problems, system speed issues, or setting up software. After that, there was a round about behavior and scenarios, asking about customer service, working with others, and dealing with upset users. Finally, there was a panel interview with several people, asking a mix of technical and behavioral questions, to see if I had strong tech skills and would fit into the company culture. The whole process was clear, the recruiters communicated well, and it left me with a good impression of EOS’s professionalism.
- From your perspective, what constitutes success in an IT support position, and what attributes contribute to a team's effectiveness?
- What characteristics are essential for a truly effective team in your opinion?
Talent Acquisition Lead
The interview process went pretty smoothly. I had an initial prescreen call with the Technical Recruiter who gave a good overview of the role and the company. Then, I had an in-person interview at our Banbridge HQ with the HR Director and a Senior HR Business Partner, which was quite insightful and actually enjoyable – something you don't often say about interviews! Finally, there was a video interview with the Head of People and Culture, which was also very insightful.
- Can you share how your past experience aligns with the responsibilities outlined for this position?
- Describe your approach to managing and resolving conflict within a team.
- What strategies do you employ when managing individuals on your team?
Database Administrator
A recruiter from EOS contacted me on LinkedIn due to my skills and I was excited. I had an interview in December 2024 and received a rejection a month later. Two months after that, the recruiter reached out again, saying there was an opening for the same role, and we did a phone interview again. They promised to respond within 2 weeks, but after 2-3 weeks of no reply, I reached out again. The recruiter finally responded and assured me a company response by the end of that day or the next, and I'm still waiting. This is frustrating because it raises expectations, and being ghosted is disrespectful and inconsiderate. I hope the recruiter experiences this when looking for a job.
- Could you explain what powershell scripting is?
