The hiring manager ghosted me mid-process after we had already agreed on the next interview. After sending multiple follow-up emails, I eventually got a generic rejection message from an HR bot. It felt impersonal, uncaring, and showed a basic lack of respect for my time and effort. It's a shame because the job, company, and mission seemed amazing. I hope this experience doesn't represent the entire organization.

So I first did an online interview on MS Teams and then an in-person interview where we did a role-play to show some skills. After they gave me an offer, we had another MS Teams meeting to discuss details and such.

It was a quick and straightforward interview process. I heard back from them within a couple of days of applying and had my first interview via video. They went over the company and the job, then asked me questions about my background that were relevant to recruiting. I had plenty of time to ask my questions too. After that, they scheduled a second interview right away. The second interview was also good. They first told me about the key skills they are looking for, and the questions were related to those. Again, I had a lot of time to ask my own questions. The interviewer was open about recruiting at EOS, what projects are happening, and how my role would contribute. Immediately after, the recruiter checked in with me, and we spoke on the phone later that day where they said they wanted to offer me the job. I got a verbal offer the next day and the written one the day after that. It was a fair process that really assessed my experience.

Nice, friendly chat with the future mentor. They were super nice and addressed me informally right away. We first went through my CV together, then talked about the job itself and how it would fit with my studies and availability during breaks.
