I applied online and then got an email about 3 weeks later to set up an interview. They wanted me to bring my references and a writing sample to this interview. It was about a half hour long, with two people interviewing me. They had a list of questions for the job and took notes while I spoke. It was pretty friendly and conversational.

I sent in my resume, cover letter, and a writing sample. Then I got an email to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview was kinda rough and felt like the interviewer didn't really want to be there. After that, there was a 30-minute writing exercise that was confusing and hard to figure out. I ended up going over the time because it took me 10 minutes just to understand what they were asking. I didn't get the job, and heard back the next day from someone else. I asked for feedback, and they said the original interviewer would get back to me after their vacation, but they never did. It was a pretty bad experience overall.

I had a Skype interview with the Seattle office. Two people led the interview. It was about an hour long and a very pleasant experience. They called me on Skype and then started asking questions. The questions were general and not specifically related to my resume. Overall, it was a good and positive experience.

I sent in my application online and then about a month later, somebody reached out to schedule a Skype interview. The interview itself was pretty standard. The people interviewing me didn't really seem engaged, they were very brief and abrupt. It's important to know that EnviroIssues isn't really an environmentally focused company; they do media work for projects that have environmental aspects, regardless of whether those projects are beneficial or harmful to the environment. I asked them about this at the end and they appeared quite uneasy when answering.
