The interview process with Enverus was smooth, structured, and engaging. I really liked the professionalism, clarity, and warmth of everyone I interacted with, from the start to the end. The case study and technical rounds were good opportunities to show my analytical and problem-solving skills. Talking with the interviewers helped me understand Enverus' culture and their focus on innovation in energy and analytics. It was great that the interviews felt collaborative and not one-sided, making it insightful and encouraging. Overall, it was a learning and motivating experience that made me even more interested in joining Enverus. Big thanks to Senior Manager Soham Sarkar and Vanapatti Hussain for this chance, they were very friendly throughout.

The interview process was okay, but I wasn't impressed with the leadership in Enablement. My interviews didn't give me much time to ask questions, and the final interview/project was a letdown. The process felt disorganized, and the stakeholders seemed unprepared and unaware of what to expect. The SVP was arrogant and rude, which was a major red flag. It seems the Enablement Team and Sales Leadership aren't aligned and lack clarity on their working relationship.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The SVP asked how I would deal with salespeople who don't attend or engage in training sessions. His framing was, "everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face" – how would I address that scenario?
  • The SVP asked how I would handle salespeople not tuning in or participating in training sessions. His phrasing was "everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth... how would I handle this?"

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was pretty standard, involving a few interviews plus a lengthy, unpaid work assignment that took a significant amount of time to complete. I had made it clear to the recruiter that I wouldn't proceed unless they could meet a base salary range $5k-$15k higher than what they initially stated. The recruiter assured me he'd discuss it with the hiring manager and proceed if they agreed. The 'free work' assignment was presented as something they 'needed done anyway,' and it ended up taking me about 25-30 hours to finish. I completed the rest of the process and received an offer, only to find out the recruiter never actually discussed my salary requirements with the hiring manager. This aligns with Glassdoor reviews about their pay being below market value, which was indeed the case. The hiring manager initially thought the salary would be acceptable and arranged a meeting with the CRO (Chris Dinkley). However, the CRO stated they wouldn't go above $135k, information that should have been shared in the very first conversation with the recruiter, especially given how much we discussed salary. The interview with the CRO felt like a waste of time for everyone since my worth was clearly demonstrated. I was understandably shocked when the hiring manager called to say I was no longer being considered for this 'important role' because I wasn't willing to accept below-market pay. I'm omitting some details of this awful experience because it's too much to write. I've described the process as 'difficult' due to the substantial assignment required of candidates.
