First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enveda.
Quality Operations Manager
The recruiter reached out quickly with a personalized email saying my application was received and under review. Soon after, I got another email to schedule my interview. I only met with the recruiter, and the interview was more in-depth than other initial interviews I've had. He was nice and thorough. I heard back within days that I wasn't moving forward, but it was the nicest rejection I've ever gotten. It had bullet points of what the hiring managers liked and mentioned they chose someone else with a closer skill alignment. I'm rating this as "difficult" because Enveda does a good job ensuring candidates who move on are a good fit, so come prepared! Have your STARs ready and be ready to talk about them.
- Can you describe how you influence stakeholders to adopt change?
Intern
For the internship, I first had to submit a work sample in November, with a week to finish it. Then in January, I had a technical interview where I presented my work sample and research to 3 people at Enveda: a manager, my future summer mentor, and a product manager. After that, in mid-January, there was a cultural interview with one person who asked from a list of questions. Finally, at the end of January, I got the offer.
- Can you share an example of how you've initiated a collaboration?
Research Associate
First was a 45-minute HR Screen. We had a really good chat about the team, the company's mission and goals, the culture, and then compensation and benefits. They asked a few questions related to the job description, but they weren't technical. Then, a 45-minute Hiring Manager interview. This was also a great conversation. We talked about my background, they asked some behavioral questions, and some technical questions that were relevant to the role and the job description.
- Can you share some general behavioral questions you were asked, like about troubleshooting, communication, and other technical topics?
Research Intern
My experience was kinda disappointing bc of poor communication and lack of professionalism. The first round, the interviewer did not join the meeting on time, but I eventually completed the interview and moved to the next stage. The second round was a work sample interview. I joined the call as scheduled and waited for over an hour, but the interviewer never showed up. Despite multiple follow-ups with HR, I received no immediate response. After two hours, I was informed that the company had decided to put the position on hold. This lack of coordination and respect for my time was frustrating. I get that hiring needs can change, but timely communication would have made the experience more professional.
- Can you describe a technical question about a chemical synthesis procedure?
