Technical Analyst
The interview process was lengthy, though not excessively challenging. The interviewers were pleasant, although they seemed a bit unprepared at times. I reached the final interview stage, but unfortunately, I was up against two other candidates, so I didn't end up getting an offer.
- Please discuss your relevant skills and experience.
- How do you approach working in team settings?
Software Engineer
I applied and was contacted by an internal recruiter over the phone. She said she would set up an initial interview and send me the invite. After waiting four hours with no email, I followed up, and she sent the invite 15 minutes later. The next day, I had a Zoom interview that seemed to go well. A few days later, I reached out to the recruiter again since I hadn't heard back. She called and told me the feedback was that I 'didn't go into detail,' which I found odd because the questions were vague and I answered them appropriately. She mentioned scheduling another interview, but never did. The process felt unprofessional and confusing.
- Are you familiar with rebase?
Consultant
The interview process took about 4 weeks and had four stages. First, I had a recruiter call, then an interview with two team members. After that, I had to create and present a presentation, and then I had a 45-minute interview. The last interview was with two senior management members. The salary range was misleadingly lower than advertised, and the feedback from the final interview felt supercilious. This company might be better for recent grads or early professionals, not mid-level or senior folks or certain demographics.
- Can you discuss your prior experience?
- Describe your process for gathering requirements.
Executive Assistant
The company has an internal recruiter who reached out for an initial chat about the role. She talked a lot and asked a few questions that didn't seem too relevant to the job. Later, I had a separate conversation with the person currently doing the job, and she was really nice. The salary offered was a bit less than I expected for a hybrid role that supports three executives. It seems like a good company, but maybe better suited for recent graduates financially.
- Could you tell me what your current salary is?
