It started with a recruiter call, then there was a waiting period for about a month while they sorted out client availability. After that, I had an interview with a subject matter expert for the role, which went alright given the circumstances. I thought my security clearance and background would help, but after a missed call from the recruiter, I'm not sure what's next. It feels like I might be getting ghosted, but I'll update if I hear back or if it seems like the process is over.

The entire process took around 4 months. I interviewed for a client, but I would have been a full-time employee at Entelligence. There were 4 interview rounds, and although I received an offer, they rescinded it when I tried to negotiate it to align with current market rates. It was unprofessional and a waste of my time and energy over 4 months. I don't recommend interviewing here.

The interview experience with Entelligence was refreshingly straightforward, involving just a couple of key stages. Initially, I had a chat with a technical recruiter, who took a genuine interest in my resume. We dove into some technical questions that felt more like a discussion about my past projects and experiences rather than a test, which was quite engaging. Following that, the conversation with the client added a personal touch to the process. It was as much about getting to know me as a person as it was about assessing my fit for the role. We talked about what I enjoy doing in my spare time, my hobbies, and even touched on the things I'm not too fond of. It felt less like an interview and more like a two-way conversation, giving me a good sense of the warm and inclusive culture they're fostering.

I was contacted for an engineering role at a major tech company. They asked me some Python questions and then talked up how great they are to their employees. I felt like I aced the questions and connected well with the interviewer. They said the process is quick and I'd hear back in a week about the next steps. It's been two weeks, and they haven't replied to my follow-up email. I'm considering other offers but was really interested in this one. This company seems to ghost candidates even after promising interviews. If you're interviewing with them, don't get your hopes up; they seem to cast a wide net for talent but don't seem to value your time much, even though they say they do.
