The interview process was straightforward. I felt secure and was kept informed about my application status. While there can be delays in hearing back about your recruitment progress, I believe this is due to the hiring manager's project workload.

It was pretty easy. I had an initial phone interview after they looked at my resume. Then, there was a panel interview where each person asked me about my previous job experience and why I was interested in Ensign. A few weeks later, they offered me the job and asked when I could start.

It's probably easiest to get an interview if you know someone who already works in the financial aid office or in the cashier's office. The interview included a supervisor and the financial aid director. It was 15 minutes long.

I applied online and got an email for a phone interview about a week later. It went well, and I was sure I'd get another interview, which I did. The next interview was pretty unimpressive. When I got there, a woman who looked disheveled was on her cell phone. I was early, so I don't get the rush. She gave me water and took me upstairs. Once up there, she handed me a packet to fill out. It required handwriting SQL, which I did, using Oracle syntax for the easy queries. Then, there was a dashboard with private data. I had about two minutes to look it over and spot any data errors. It was a big dashboard with unfamiliar data, so I struggled a bit but tried. The manager came out and quickly asked if I was done. The rush was still baffling since I was early. The actual interview had mostly bland, standard questions. Afterward, I emailed the manager to thank her and reiterate my interest. No response. Very unprofessional.
