Program Analyst
Got an email a few days after applying and did a quick phone interview with the recruiter. About two days later, they told me I was moving on to a standard interview, which was set for the next week. I met with one person, and it felt like a mix of casual and formal. We had a good chat, and the interviewer was nice.
- How do you keep yourself organized and manage your workload?
- What makes you want this job and to work here?
- Tell me about a situation where you simplified complicated information into an easy-to-understand format and presentation for a specific group.
Technician
I had an hour-long chat with the supervisor. We talked about the kind of maintenance stuff you'd expect someone with a few years under their belt to know. It was like an oral test where they showed me pictures of tools like drills, welders, and multimeters and asked me to name them.
- Can you explain how to read a tape measure?
Software Engineer
it was a pretty easy and straightforward interview. It took quite a while to get an offer due to their customers proposal/approval but just very basic programming questions, previous experience, skills and other HR questions
- Tell me about your basic programming knowledge.
- Can you describe your projects and previous experience?
- What are your personal skills?
Graduate Engineering Trainee
So we went on a school trip to Houston. A recruiter took us on a tour of their company and collected resumes from new grads they were looking to hire. After reviewing my resume, they set up a 1 on 1 video call interview. Then, they flew me out to Houston for an in-person interview with a panel.
- They mostly wanted to know about my personality traits and what kind of person I was, guessing to see if I could fit in and hack it at their company.
- That and also past work experience.
