I got an email with some questions, then had an online interview with one interviewer and other candidates. It was mostly a group discussion. I'll hear back via email if I'm selected.

It was a Zoom interview, pretty easy, just practice what you're gonna say. They'll ask scenario questions. Like, what would you do if a student came into class irate or sad?

The whole process took about 3 weeks and included a background check and a TB skin test, for which you had to pay $100 upfront. You'd get that money back at the end of the process. Right after that, they'll have you set up a bill.com account to get paid. Since you're an independent contractor, you'll be responsible for your own taxes.
