Content Specialist
So, after a quick intro call and a chat with the hiring manager, I got a take-home project. It's pretty standard, but they don't pay you for it, which is a bummer. Once I finished that, there were a few more interviews, and then the really intense part: a two-hour deep dive into my entire life and career. They asked about everything from when I was a kid, my high school interests and achievements, my college research, and my grades. It felt super weird and invasive, like I was being interrogated about my personal history for a job. Honestly, I hated it and felt really uncomfortable. I didn't get an offer, and when I tried to follow up with the recruiter to discuss why, they just ghosted me. It was honestly the worst interview experience I've ever had, and I definitely wouldn't recommend this company.

Customer Success Manager
After applying, I was contacted about a month later, which felt pretty average given the current economic climate. The recruiter wanted to set up a screening call and asked for my availability. I sent it back quickly, but then heard nothing for a week. I followed up, and it took him another week to actually schedule the call. The screening call was pretty standard, though the recruiter seemed a bit distracted. He then moved me to the next round. This next interview was supposed to be 45 minutes, but the hiring manager cut it short after about 10 minutes, realizing I didn't have the technical background they were looking for. They said the recruiter would follow up with next steps, but unsurprisingly, never did. It seems like the recruiter is either overloaded, doesn't care about candidates, doesn't understand the hiring manager's needs, or a combination of these. Honestly, it was one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had, wasting both my time and the company's.

Technical Project Manager
The interview process seemed promising initially, but it ended up being quite long, with multiple 3-4 hour onsite interviews involving at least 8 people. This was mainly because they hadn't clearly defined the role or who it would report to. I really liked the people, products, and teams I met. However, even after having good interviews with several people and getting a general 'yes' and a verbal offer, they canceled the role at the last minute. This happened because the person they hired as the manager for this position didn't think it was a good fit. They asked relevant questions about the role and my experience until the final interview. Then, they threw in a surprise technical interview that was more in-depth than the role originally required, along with what seemed like a culture fit interview. It was frustrating, and they admitted the process wasn't great on their end. While they tried to end on a good note, I'd advise anyone interviewing to make sure the role, hiring manager, and direct manager are all solid before committing to multiple rounds of interviews.
