Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eni Spa.
Engineer
First technical introductory interview, then a motivational interview with lots of questions about your personality and how you would behave in certain situations, and then an English test on Pipplet which was quite difficult, you need to know the language well.
- Were you willing to relocate?
Maintenance Engineer
It was a full day of interviews, and the company covered travel and lodging. We did group assessments, individual case studies, and face-to-face interviews – pretty much the whole package. The toughest part was managing the limited time for all the different parts.
- Can you name three of your strengths and three of your weaknesses?
Project Engineer
I had one face-to-face interview which lasted less than two hours. It was a standard interview with two technical specialists and one manager, plus an HR person. They asked routine and basic questions. The benefits weren't discussed in the interview itself, only over the phone afterward.
- Technical based and management based questions. Standard.
