Chief Risk Officer
It was a good and simple interview, just like any regular interview. Don't be nervous, it will be okay and everything went just as expected. They asked basic questions, just be prepared and do your best.
- Are you willing to work more overtime hours for this job?
Project Manager
My initial contact was with the ENGlobal Freeport office manager after I inquired about a potential opening. I sent my resume via email as instructed and was told to call back in a week. A week later, I called back and the office manager said I'd have a phone interview within the next week. I prepared by keeping my resume and the job posting handy for talking points and researched common tough interview questions. Then, I had a phone interview with a BASF Project Manager where we discussed my resume and my suitability for the role. Following that, the Freeport ENGlobal office manager called to offer me the job, mentioning we'd finalize paperwork after agreeing on salary. Finally, we agreed on the salary, and a date was set to visit the ENGlobal office to complete the necessary paperwork.
- Could you share some information about your background?
Senior Accountant
Simple interview process. Job described during interview was only 50% of responsibilities assigned. Ask for a higher salary than you expect. Work will double. You will need to ask them a multitude of questions about how they handle increases in work and compensation aligned.
- Tell me about a difficult situation you encountered and how you managed it.
- Can you share an instance where you had to deliver unfavorable news, and describe the result and whether you felt it was a success?
