First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Englewood Lab.
Stability Coordinator
I had a phone screen first, then an in-person interview that lasted about three hours. It involved meeting with four people. The interviewers were mostly nice and professional, though one was kind of rude and condescending, which wasn't cool.
- What is your understanding of our company and what motivates your departure from your present position?
- Could you explain your reasons for seeking new employment and what you know about us?
Product Manager
The interview process was pretty standard, although some questions felt a bit off, specifically the one about why I'm moving from a larger company to a smaller one. The other questions were quite clear and manageable.
- What's motivating your move from a larger organization to a smaller one?
Chemist
I submitted my resume online and then got an email to set up a virtual interview because I couldn't make it in person due to the distance. I then had a Google Meet with the lab managers. It was a good meeting where I found out more about what they do.
- What have you learned in school?
- What is your passion for the cosmetic industry?
Regulatory Affairs Specialist
I had an interview with the global chief officer. This man was really aggressive during the interview, basically bullying me for an hour. He was belittling me and said I didn't know what I wanted in life and that life isn't a game. He looked at me with disgust and disrespected me, saying I don't know anything about this job. It seemed like he enjoyed bullying me, and I can't imagine working for someone like that or in a place like this.
- Why are you looking to leave your current role?
- What makes you think I would invest time and money in training you?
