The process took over a month because of summer holidays. First, there was a phone call explaining my university career. Then, an HR interview via Teams, followed by a technical interview with the manager. I found everyone competent and they were clear about the contract from the start.

I had an initial chat with an HR recruiter over video call. Given my 5+ years of experience at a major consultancy, I was surprised when they mentioned they only hire people with direct client experience or interns. They then offered me an internship, which I found quite disappointing and frankly, not quite right.

The hiring process lasted a couple of weeks. It started with a phone interview with HR, after which I was invited to the Engineering head office in Turin for an interview with a manager. Both the HR person and the manager were very friendly, creating a comfortable, low-pressure environment. Following this initial interview, I had an interview at the customer's office. The manager I met previously accompanied me to introduce me. This interview mainly covered my studies and past experiences. A few days later, I received a job offer.
