First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enervest.
Intern
It was a really chill interview. Mostly just discussed their company and its business, which you should have a handle on from your research. They want to see if you're professional and if you have some personality. They got back to me super fast and gave me an offer. All in all, it was a breeze and I actually enjoyed it.
- What do you know about our company?
- Can you demonstrate some basic knowledge of the petroleum industry?
Lease Analyst
STAR questions were asked. The interviewer wanted to know basic knowledge of the applicant's work history and schooling. The interview was a one-stage process with no follow-up interviews required. Expectations were laid out. Benefits or salary were not mentioned until the offer stage.
- Can you describe your previous work experiences using the STAR method?
- Can you tell me about your educational background using the STAR method?
Software Engineer
The interview was relaxed and productive. It felt more like a discussion than an interview, which made it easier to describe my qualifications, experience, and interests. I think other companies could learn from this kind of interview process. I hope that EnerVest continues to use this relaxed but effective procedure.
- Can you tell me about your work experience?
Intern
I had a super easy phone interview in December. The whole thing was pretty fast. I got an offer in about two or three weeks over the phone. There was just one interview, and it was really chill and basic.
- What are your career aspirations for this role?
