The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with a phone call with the Director, who was really easy to chat with. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview in Arlington, VA. There, I met with both the Director and the COO. We discussed my background in renewables and explored the company's work opportunities. I got an offer via email and then had a chance to talk to the director about any questions I had.

The interview process was okay. Each position is different. However, there was a relatively long wait between stages. The communication during those gaps could have been more consistent.

The interview process was quite lengthy with 6 marathon sessions involving 7 managers, including the hiring manager. I had a subsequent interview with the hiring manager and then a final one with the Chief Commercial Officer. Despite my best efforts and relevant qualifications, I was ghosted by the hiring manager and didn't receive a job offer. It was disappointing to see the job reposted on LinkedIn. Initially, I was given an Excel exercise to determine if I'd proceed to the interview stage. I put a lot of effort into it, and the hiring manager was happy. After that, I had a screening with the recruiter, followed by the interviews. However, they never followed up, and the hiring manager ghosted me, leading to the position being reposted.

HR called for a quick phone screen that took 30 mins. Then, they set up an in-person interview with the head of US and CEO in Arlington, VA.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • A basic math question was asked in a dismissive tone.
  • Concerns were raised about willingness to work 60+ hours per week, framed around eagerness rather than outcomes.
  • Assumptions were made about my religious background based on my country of origin, which felt inappropriate and biased.
