First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enel.
Junior Engineer
The selection process involved an initial group interview where I was assessed on my collaborative skills and problem-solving abilities. After passing this stage, I had a second technical and introductory interview. This part delved deeper into my specific skills, professional experiences, and how I fit the technical requirements of the role, while also evaluating my motivation and aptitude for the position.
- During the group interview, we were asked to work together to make a PowerPoint presentation about water waste and how to fix it.
- The task included figuring out the main reasons for water wastage at home, in farms, and in industries, and suggesting real ways to cut it down.

Junior Engineer
I sent my CV and got a call about a week later. They asked me why I wanted to work at Enel. Then I got an English test, and after passing it, an invitation to a recruiting day. The recruiting day was a 4-hour group interview with HR. We had to introduce ourselves in one minute, talk about our passions in one minute, and then do a group project where we were given a topic for a presentation. At the end, everyone chose the person they liked most from each group, and if you got enough votes, you moved on, but the recruiters could still pass you even if you didn't get many votes. About 10 days later, I was called to schedule a get-to-know-you/technical interview with two HR people and two managers. The HR folks asked about my passions, my university path, and why I wanted to work at Enel. The managers asked technical questions about how I thought Enel's income statement was structured, potential investments, and about ARERA. Three weeks after that, they called to say the interview went well and they wanted to offer me the job. The whole thing took about two months.
- Could you tell us about yourself, and why you want to work at Enel?
- Tell us about your passions.
- What are your thoughts on Enel's potential future investments?
