First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Encore Software Services.
Automation QA Engineer
I went through an agency, and I wasn't happy with them. I had a gap in my employment, and the day before, I discussed salary expectations with the agency. They heard me out but couldn't commit. The numbers weren't drastically different from what I had previously stated. I mentioned the same salary figures to the interviewer, but they immediately said they couldn't pay much. That's when I lost interest. I'm glad I didn't get the offer because the company didn't deserve me.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What are your expectations for this role?
- Could you please write some code in Java?
.NET Developer
Attended an online interview that was smooth and clean. The first round was a telephonic discussion lasting about 30 minutes, covering basic topics from the resume. The second round lasted about an hour and delved into a deep understanding of those concepts, including scenario-based questions and asking for alternative solutions to the logic used in answers.
- Can you explain MVC?
- What do you know about Angular?
- Describe your understanding of Oops.
Software Developer
Overall it sucks. Recruiters are good. But the interviewer, Sakthi, interviewed me for the second time. He degrades you a lot. He questions your achievements and asks if you really got awarded or just mentioned it in your profile. His communication isn't great, yet he judges your accent and criticizes your communication. It wasn't a professional interview at all.
- The interviewer asks scenario-based SQL questions and will argue until you point out his own incorrect answer, unwilling to accept alternatives.
- He will ask if you actually received your awards or just put them on your profile.
- He will ask about your accent and critique your communication.
Supply Chain Analyst
First, there was one on one with the TL and then with the Manager. Lastly, a quick review of the project with the Project Lead. Then HR salary discussion for experienced folks. Overall, the interview went well and the procedures followed were good.
- What was the nature of SCM work in your previous organization?
- How long did the project last?
- What is your team handling capacity?
