The first interviews with HR and my potential direct manager were great, they were really easy to talk to and kind. The hiring manager seemed really interested and mentioned the department head just needed to give the final approval, as it was mostly their decision. The next interview was scheduled quickly, and I felt really good about it. However, it turned out to be the most uncomfortable interview ever. Most people in the department, including the department head, had been there less than a year, though they were open about their high turnover. I mentioned I have a disability, as I've had issues at past workplaces and didn't want to hide it. The first 15-20 minutes of the interview, the interviewer just talked about their own work history and why they came to Encompass to work for someone specific. The video was messed up the whole time, and it sounded like a conference call was playing in the background. This person came across as really privileged, talking about taking a year off and discussing their next career steps with their mentor. I guess the worst part was when they asked why I stayed in a job with no growth opportunities. I felt put on the spot because I didn't want to get into details about my health then, but I'll explain here in case anyone from the company reads this and becomes more aware for next time. I didn't leave that job because I'm disabled, and I had insurance and decent pay, and I couldn't afford to lose it or FMLA. Not everyone has the luxury of taking a year off to plan their next move. This interviewer clearly only wanted someone like them, and I had no interest in working for someone who was more focused on themselves and their own career ambitions. When I asked if they were accessible for employees to reach out to, the answer was basically 'kind of.' I got the impression they didn't want to be bothered by 'regular folks,' but might if there was absolutely no one else, as long as the message was direct. This was in a department of only 4 people. It was laughable how out of touch this person was with most people's realities. They clearly wouldn't be very open or accommodating to someone with a disability in their department. My potential manager left less than 6 months later, which speaks volumes.

Customer Care Liaison
I was emailed to set up a Zoom interview. The first was a 15-min Zoom call to get to know me and see if I'd move on. Then, a second interview was set up that was 1 hour long. I was told after the 15-min interview when I'd know about an offer, and they said immediately after the hour-long interview. After the hour-long interview, I was told I'd know by Friday at the latest and they'd call regardless. I interviewed on Monday. I emailed and called on Friday to check in, but heard nothing back. I finally heard back the following Monday via email saying the position was filled with no explanation. I had another offer I was holding onto for another company, which I told them about, and this whole experience left a bad impression.

Account Executive
It started with a phone screen with HR. Then there was this big assessment called OMG, it checks sales aptitude and behaviors. After that, I had four more interviews with senior executives and the CRO. The whole thing took over 2 months. The HR person kept me updated, and the feedback was always good, including on the assessment. I was told I was a top candidate and she was setting up the last step. Then there was a pause, and she told me she was leaving for another company, but introduced me to her manager. He said filling the role was a 'priority' and they were 'still working through our process'. By then, 3 months had passed. I never heard from them again. Encompass makes you do a lot, but they don't treat you well when they don't need you anymore. It's not a two-way street.
- Questions about your sales process, deal sizes, sales cycles, and decision makers.
- Tell me about your sales process.

Resolutionary Analyst
We had 30 people come in for interviews, split into three different sessions. First, a 30-minute intro. Then, four separate 7-minute interviews with different people. After that, some group mingling. The job description really emphasized that success in this role means figuring things out yourself. Encompass can't hold your hand because our software moves too fast and the docs are always out of date. So, if you can't 'figure it out,' you're not a fit.
- Can you figure out how to create a new user by looking at the software?
- What's your process for learning new things?
- Can you explain what this record means?
