& Process

The hiring process involved two stages. First, I had a phone chat with the HR manager. After that, I had a Zoom interview with the Decor Lead.

I had a short initial call. Then, I went in for an in-person interview that lasted an hour with three employees. It was a bit confusing because the office sign had a different company name, and the people at the door didn't expect me. They had planned time for their questions but not for mine. After that, I was given a 4-hour take-home design challenge related to their product. Unfortunately, about a week after I submitted it, they informed me the job listing was no longer available due to COVID-19. I never received any feedback on the challenge, and I'm left wondering if they'll use my designs.

This was the worst, most archaic interview process. I interviewed for a full-time role and was given a seasonal offer because they didn't like an interview question response. They told me at the last minute I would have to use my personal computer or go to a library, and when I refused, they took back the offer. They claim to have all these values they care about, but the team doesn't display anything but bias and discrimination toward seasonal staff. Horrible, inconsiderate HR team who doesn't know how to proofread or create a proper offer letter. Worst company I've ever interviewed with.

We did some simple zoom calls. These calls featured both the corporate location in Las Vegas and the actual location you would be working at, like Washington DC, San Jacinto, Las Vegas, Dallas, etc.
