I applied for a Customer Success Manager position in Sydney. The interview process started off great, and everyone I spoke with, including HR, was really nice. For the third round, I had to put together a presentation and do a roleplay. It took a lot of time and effort to get the deck ready and practice. This interview was about an hour long and pretty intense. But even after all that work, I never heard back after the third interview. I tried reaching out to the HR person in Austin, but got no reply. I get that not everyone gets the job, but completely ghosting a candidate after they put in so much effort is just not professional. Seems like this ghosting thing is a common issue here, as I've seen similar stories from others.

The interview process at Enboarder started off well. I had an initial screening call, and then a good interview with the Head of Product. Both went fine, and the recruiter gave me solid feedback after the second round. But then... silence. I followed up a few times, but never heard back about the outcome. It's really important for candidates to get timely and clear communication so they know where they stand and can move on to other opportunities.

I was really excited about Enboarder and had a great 45 minute conversation with the recruiter. The recruiter was enthusiastic and said that they’d like me to meet with the hiring manager the following week and they’d reach out. This was one of the most natural conversations and I left feeling excited about the potential opportunity to join Enboarder. Then, I was ghosted. I waited a week and a half and reached out…nothing. This was surprising to me because this felt much more personal and the recruiter talked a lot about how they respect candidates time and making the experience good. A simple, “sorry, we’ve opted to go in another direction” would’ve been great after I’d spent my “valuable” time to interview. Looks like this is a common theme on the past few interview reviews.

The interview process was really smooth and the HR kept me updated regularly about my application. It had 4 stages starting with a first phone screening, followed by a technical interview and further a culture fit interview with the CEO. Lastly a background check. It was one of the best interviews I had as the interviewers made me feel very comfortable for all the 3 rounds which helped me to be more confident. Additionally, I received a feedback call after the technical round from their end.
