First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enable International.
Administrator
The interview process is designed to be quick, conversational, and informal, giving candidates the opportunity to get a genuine feel for the team and role. It typically consists of three stages: an initial discussion with the hiring manager, followed by a deeper conversation with the head of department, and concluding with a final interview with a member of the leadership team.
- Can you describe your typical daily responsibilities in your current position?
Value Engineer
Started with a call with the hiring manager, then talked to other team members, and finally had a panel interview. A ton of work went into preparing for the presentation/panel interview about their solutions, which was overkill looking back. The presentation should have focused on my current company's solutions to showcase my strengths and avoid researching a product I didn't know. It was a letdown that everyone in Sales is restricted to a week's notice by contract, leaving no room for negotiation. The salary also didn't seem to be in line with the market.
- Can you discuss the time-to-value for Enable's solution and its unique selling points compared to competitors?
Business Value Consultant
It was a multi-stage interview process with several members of the Enable team, and it included a presentation/role-play exercise. Preparing for this presentation/role-play took a lot of time, over 40 hours, and it wasn't super clear what they were looking for. The whole process took a long time, but the interviewers were engaging and the product/market was really interesting. The process itself was smooth and the interviews were handled well. However, the salary and notice period negotiations weren't handled well. I'd suggest discussing these things upfront and at every step.
- What is the expected time-to-value for their solution?
Sales Manager
Had an initial recruiter screen, then an interview with the hiring manager, and then a presentation was needed. After that, I interviewed with an Executive. Big RED Flags, if hired, company expects you to pass a subjective certification on products within 9 days or you're let go. Also, hiring manager was proud of "unique" culture that included no work / life balance and an expectation that you were tied to phone and laptop no matter what.
- What are your thoughts on participating in team deals where senior leadership is involved in every deal?
- Our team selling approach involves weekly forecasting and bi-weekly deal reviews to cover all deal aspects. How do you manage this expectation and the associated time commitment?
