The interview process involved standard questions. It's important that your personality aligns well with the interviewer to avoid misunderstandings. I was disappointed by the delayed communication regarding the decision; they took too long to send a rejection email after previously being timely, which left a poor impression.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I first met with the HR manager to discuss the job and the company's growth. Then, I met with the Engineering Manager, the Production Lead, and another Process Technician. We talked about my background and the job's responsibilities. We also toured the plant, and it ended with a handshake. Overall, it was a good experience.

Behavioral Technical

I had a phone interview where they asked about my comfort level with different tasks and my past experiences. After that, I successfully completed an Excel problem. They then indicated I got the position and invited me for an in-person discussion about the role. However, I couldn't make it on the scheduled day and time, so I suggested coming the next day at the same time. They said they would confirm, but I didn't hear back for a week. I assume I didn't get the job because I missed the initial meeting, which was a bit disappointing as I wish they had informed me sooner.

The interview happened in 4 steps. First, a phone screen with some engineers where they asked about my resume, background, and experience. It was pretty standard. Second, a written and technical skills test involving Excel and a writing sample. Third, an in-person interview where I met with engineers face-to-face and they asked more detailed questions about my resume and experience. Again, it was straightforward with no weird personality questions. Finally, an interview with HR for behavioral and typical interview questions, and they also asked for references.
