First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Employ (MA).
Sales Manager
The interview process at Jobvite was awesome, from the initial recruiter call to the onsite interviews. The team seems to have their operations well-organized. Although I had to decline the offer as none was extended, the experience with Jobvite made me feel positive about startups and their mission. I could go on about how well this process was managed; the recruiter was very enthusiastic, provided encouraging feedback, and even responded promptly to my follow-up email.
- As we started the final interview, the interviewers asked for my questions for them upfront, which was a bit different but I really liked that approach.
Sales Development Manager
This was the best interview process ever, especially fitting for an ATS company. It started with a chat with Justin, the VP of sales, and then moved to in-person interviews with the rest of the team. The questions were designed to truly understand candidates. This team really makes sure you'll fit in and succeed with them. I even learned about myself during the process and would've found it valuable even without the offer. Sarah, the CEO, spent a good chunk of time with me, asking questions and letting me ask about the product and company. By the end, all my final questions were answered, ensuring I knew if it was the right fit. Everyone was patient, smart, and thoughtful. They were also flexible and responsive, which kept the process to just a few weeks. Overall, it was a stellar experience.
- The questions asked were very direct and without any surprises.
Revenue Manager
Started with a phone screen with HR. Then an on-site interview where I met the controller, members of the revenue team, and HR to talk about the role. Overall, it was a good experience and the interview felt very interactive.
- Can you describe your management style?
