The initial interview was a Skype call where I spoke with the HR Manager and CMOs Erin and Emily. They asked me a variety of questions about my past work, my aspirations for the future, and my experience in account management within the advertising technology sector, especially since the role requires 1-3 years of experience.

I sent in my resume and then got a call back about a week later. The HR person was really nice and mostly just talked about the company's sales process and hiring steps, asking around 4-5 screening questions. After that, I went in for an in-person interview that lasted about 30 minutes. It felt pretty intense because it was very direct, covering the sales approach, what's expected, and a typical day. They also asked a bunch of questions, I think to see if my personality fit what they were looking for. Then there was a final interview, about an hour long. This one was more interactive and went into more detail about pay, different roles, and management possibilities (which seem to be around 1-2 years down the line).

So the whole interview thing took about a week and a half. I sent my resume on a Wednesday and the HR manager called me the next Monday. That call was like 10 minutes, mostly just explaining the company and their sales strategy. Then I had an in-person interview at their Williamsville office. That lasted about 30 minutes. They asked a lot about my resume and what I've done before. The hiring director I met with showed me the clients they work with, how the training goes, and what a typical day is like for the entry-level job. I got to ask questions at the end. Finally, I had a panel interview with an Account Executive and a hiring director. We talked about career opportunities and the pay, like what the commissions are for getting new clients.
